ABOUT OUR EVENTS

What's the typical attendee like at LLN Houston events?

You'll meet amazing women! Our events attract 20-25 professional women, between 25 and 55 years old, most are 35-45 who are entrepreneurs, business owners, or in leadership roles. They're passionate about personal growth, supporting local businesses, and making a difference in the community. Expect a larger turnout for Sip & Shops events.

What's the vibe like at your events?

We keep things relaxed and welcoming. Think more like a gathering of friends than a large networking event. Our community reflects Houston's vibrant diversity, creating an inclusive space where genuine connections flourish. You'll have plenty of opportunities to chat with attendees one-on-one and build those authentic relationships.

Is this a membership?

This is not a membership. This way, you know the people there really want to be there. You are welcome to attend any event as a guest or as a business partner (as long as you are the only one in your category).

How many events do you have per year? Can I set up at multiple events?

We host the following events throughout the year.

- Five (5) speaker events in the Spring

- Four (4) speaker events in the Fall

- One summer happy hour & one summer brunch

- One holiday sip & shop


You are absolutely welcome to set up at multiple events! Each event will be a new investment - we do offer multi event discounts, repeat business discounts and can make custom packages. Just reach out and ask away!


EVENT SETUP

What's the setup like? What size table should I bring?

Our venues are on the more intimate side, so smaller setups are awesome if you have them. If not, a standard 6ft table works great too. We usually arrange tables around the room to encourage mingling and connection.

What is your weather policy?

Our events proceed rain or shine. In cases of severe weather or unsafe conditions, the event will be rescheduled. Your investment secures your spot at either the original or rescheduled date - no refunds or discounted rates will be offered.

What about Houston traffic and arrival times?

We understand Houston traffic can be unpredictable! We recommend planning your arrival 45-60 minutes before the event start time for setup. This buffer ensures a relaxed setup experience and accounts for any traffic delays. Your designated space will be ready for you upon arrival.


GETTING THE MOST VALUE

How will you help me promote my business at the event?

We've got you covered! We'll give you shout-outs on social media, announcements at the event and give you a spot on our website. Plus, you'll have dedicated time to connect with attendees and share what makes your business special

What kind of online visibility will I get?

Beyond social media features, you'll be highlighted in our event recap blog post. This permanent content helps improve your business's Google searchability and online presence, making it easier for potential clients to find you long after the event.

What makes this different from other networking events?

We create intentional spaces where real conversations can happen naturally. With only 4-6 businesses per event, there's room to be heard. Our intimate setting means quality connections over rushed introductions. Plus, you get category exclusivity - you'll be the only business of your type at the event. I've also created unique tools such as our automated calendar that help keep you connected in between events.


I also make it a point to reach out to a hyper local market surrounding our venues. It's very likely that who you meet at the event, lives or works near your business! I am VERY intentional in my outreach - I'm all about creating community and lasting relationships.

How does the online community work?

You'll get access to our private Facebook Business Circle - a space where partners share events, collaborate, and support each other. We provide weekly opportunities to be featured in our event blasts and social media using easy user friendly forms. My goal is that it becomes an easy part of your process. Here's the key: the more you engage and share, the more visibility you'll receive. We create the platform; you create the connections!

How can I make the most of my partnership?

The first step here is mindset. Networking is a long game. If you are looking for quick sales, this is not for you. It's about making connections. You never know who will remember you a few months from now.

What is your payment and cancellation policy?

Your investment reserves your exclusive category spot and includes pre-event marketing. We accept credit card payments only. Regular speaker events and Sip & Shop events have different pricing structures - please refer to the specific event package details. All sales are final and non-refundable. While specific spots cannot be transferred, your payment can be credited toward a future event subject to availability.

Can I customize a package to fit my needs?

Of course! We're all about flexibility. Just reach out, and we'll work together to find the perfect fit for your business and budget.

Does this qualify as a business expense?

You'll receive an official invoice for your records. Please check with your tax professional. In my experience business networking events are typically considered a business expense.

How does the sign up process work?

-When you click on one of the buttons, a calendar will pop up

-Leave your contact information if we don't have it yet. You will get an email but STAY in the pop up

-Choose your partnership level

-Choose the date(s) that work for you

-You will then be sent to a form to fill out your business information

-I'll get an alert and check if we have your business type available

-I'll send you an invoice - your payment secures your spot!

I'm Angelica


Angelica Bryant, Community Director of LLN Houston

Hello, I'm Angelica Bryant, the Community Director of LLN Houston. I have three boys with LARGE age gaps - there’s always a milestone moment in our house. I’m a small town girl who moved to the big city for my job in 2015.


Growing up, I saw my mom build a successful business from the ground up in the demolition contracting industry. Her journey inspired me to pursue engineering, and I started my career rotating on rigs in the Gulf of Mexico and South Texas in 2012.


Due to my mom’s experience, I have had a passion to advocate for women in business and entrepreneurship for a really long time. After my own experience in a male-dominated industry that passion grew and revealed to me the immense importance of community, empowerment, and connection. We are truly stronger when we work together and share our stories.


But...when can we find the time?


I am on a personal mission to make networking & connecting EASIER by curating meaningful events and using automation and systems to help us stay connected in between!


Empowering each other, talking about issues that matter to us, getting deep, sharing hardships AND triumphs and staying connected– that's what LLN Houston is all about.
